How it works: Submit your song

What it is

Submit your song is the module that lets you, the creator, submit your song so it plays on RadioInternet.ca. Is your song on Suno, on YouTube or on another platform? Do you want people to hear it? That’s exactly what this module is for.

The principle is simple and honest: you submit the link to your song, a human looks at your submission, and if it’s approved, your song can join the programming. There is no automatic publishing. Every submission is reviewed by a human before any broadcast.

How to use it

First step: go to the site’s home page or to the Listen page. The “Submit your song” section is in both places.

Second step: write your artist name or your project name, and the title of your song in the form.

Third step: paste the link to your song. It can be a Suno link, a YouTube link or a link from another platform. It has to be the link to the song itself, not just your main page.

Fourth step: add the link to your creator profile on the same platform as your song. That link is required. If your song is on Suno, it’s your Suno profile. If it’s on YouTube, it’s your YouTube channel.

Fifth step: write your email. It is required too. That’s the email we can use to reach you about your submission.

Sixth step: look at the verification code shown in the form. It looks like RINT-XXXXXX, with numbers or letters in place of the Xs. Copy that code, and paste it right at the very beginning of the description of your song or your video, on your platform. It’s simple: that code proves that you are indeed the one who controls the account where the song is published.

Seventh step: check the rights declaration. By checking it, you declare that you hold the rights to your song, or that you have permission to submit it. Without the check, the submission won’t go through. That’s normal: we never broadcast someone’s music without their agreement.

What if your song is explicit? When you submit, the form asks you to declare whether your song contains explicit language or adult themes (18+): that’s the “My song contains explicit language or adult themes (18+)” checkbox. Check it if it applies. Your song will then carry the “Explicit — 18+” label everywhere its title appears on the site — the Music catalogue, the charts, the continuous radio and the live stream. It’s a declaration, not a blocker: the box is not required, the label prevents neither submission nor approval, and nothing is removed from the site because of it. It simply lets listeners know before they press play — that’s the house rule: nothing sexual or adults-only without saying so.

Eighth step: send the form. Your submission goes into a queue, on the team’s side.

Good to know

After you send it, you’ll need a bit of patience. Your submission is looked at by hand, then it is approved or refused. Nothing is published on its own, without a human looking at it. That’s our way of respecting creators and listeners at the same time.

If your song comes from YouTube, it is featured with the official YouTube player. Your video is never copied. It stays on YouTube, and the official player is what presents it here.

The radio stream, for its part, is fed by the files of the approved songs, when the file can be broadcast. That’s how accepted songs end up in the programming.

A tip before you send: make sure your song is properly published, that your link leads directly to it, and that your RINT code is properly pasted at the beginning of its description. A clear submission, with the right title, the right links and the right email, helps the person who will listen to it do their verification work well.
