How it works: Training and resources

What it is

The Training page is where you learn how to start your own internet radio, step by step, without getting lost. Whether you are starting from zero or you already have a little experience, the page guides you in order, like a path.

And it is not just theory. The page includes a Resources section with practical documents you can download and keep. They are ready-to-fill templates, to organize your programming and prepare your shows like a pro, right from the start.

How to use it

First step: click on “Training” in the site menu.

Second step: follow the quick starter guide, in five steps. It shows you where to start, in what order, without skipping important steps. Read it all the way through once, then come back to it at your own pace.

Third step: go to the Resources section and download the three templates offered. The first one is a sample program grid, to plan your programming week. The second one is a playlist template, to organize your songs. The third one is a show preparation sheet, to be ready before you open the mic.

Fourth step: fill in the templates with your own ideas and keep them close by when you prepare your radio.

Fifth step: if a question comes to mind, check the page’s FAQ. It answers the questions new creators ask most often about the ecosystem.

Good to know

The templates are yours: you download them, you modify them, you reuse them as much as you want. The Training page will keep growing over time, but everything that is there right now is real, available and ready to use today.

Our advice: do not put pressure on yourself. Do one step at a time, in order, and check them off mentally as you go. Many creators give up because they want to do everything in one day. You, take the path as it is built: five small, clear steps are better than one big, messy leap.
